Pioneer Printers represents the literary production unit of Pioneer School. Literature is produced in Braille, on audio cassette and in large print for visually impaired persons country-wide. Blind employees proofread all Braille printing to ensure accuracy and good quality.

Braille and large print
Pioneer Printers annually produces a varied selection of Braille-transcribed literary works:

  • Examination papers for the use of blind and visually impaired scholars
  • The printing of documents or manuals in Braille
  • Sheet music for the blind, which is outsourced to the general public
  • Pioneer newsletter ("Die Nuwe Pionier")


Magazines and newspapers in audio
Several magazines and newspapers are converted to audio tape on a weekly basis and mailed to visually impaired subscribers nationwide.
