2012 has been a year filled with new and exciting projects!

A group of blind and partially sighted employees from our therapy unit went out to Kobus de Wet’s farm: La Colline. It was truly a blessed and remarkable day that no one could ever forget!

Hug a tree 2012

The “Hug a tree” project is a wonderful initiative of Feedem.

This year the tree was planted in the Snoezelen garden, the garden forms part of the Snoezelen area (click here to read more) at the Institute for the Blind. We decided to plant the tree in Memory of Anlo van Heerden, who loved everyone at the Institute for the Blind and truly believed in the potential of every person.

The Snoezelen garden is one of our exciting new projects. We hope that the Snoezelen garden and the lovely tree, as donated by Feedem, will always bring joy to everyone at the Institute for the Blind.
